After five years in the making, Kalendar is finally releasing their epic ZEMLYA EARTH album! The first album of its kind every produced in Canada. The celebration will fill DROM Taberna with the full vocal power of Kalendar’s singers. Expect songs from the Ukrainian folk opera ZEMLYA EARTH (created by Marichka, premiered in 2017), alongside other vibrant tunes embodying the strength, joy, and resilience of the Ukrainian people. Our sister organization, Kosa Kolektiv, is hosting their the 3rd Annual Winter Folk Fair, to be held at St. Vladimir Institute at 620 Spadina Ave, on Sunday, December 13th, 2015!
Winter Folk Fair is a full day event and community gathering featuring artisans, vendors, musicians and singers who have come together to share the holiday spirit!
KalynDar will be performing from 2:30-3:30 pm.
Along with us and other musicians entertaining throughout the day, their will also be an Artisan Market, Local Food, Singing Workshop, Crafting Workshop, Puppet Show, Art Gallery & Short Film Programme!
The fair is open to the public at 11 am to 5 pm.
